  During a recent 6 week trip in the USA Ferris and Javier's Cafe were a highlight. Driving from DFW to Houston, this place was lovely refuge. Humble, welcoming staff, good food, genuine. Perhaps I need to get out more, but thanks to Javier's for a nice surprise meal. Don't be fooled by the abandoned look of the town and cafe. Javier's is open and a joy.

  Good service, good food, never know what might be on the very loud TV though. That can get annoying at times.
